The Aardt Foundation advances its mission through a range of scholarly and public-facing initiatives, including private tours, educational panels, public engagements, loans of artworks, web-based interaction, and the publication of critical and interpretive materials.
Educators are invited to schedule group tours for their art history or studio art classes. These guided experiences encourage creativity, curiosity, and dialogue. Tours may be tailored to align with curricular goals, offering deeper engagement with specific movements, works, or artists. Other groups and cultural organizations are also welcome to arrange tours, with opportunities for thematic connections and discussion.
We encourage academic research into any of the artists, works or genres and movements in the collection. In addition to its collection, The Aardt Foundation maintains a library of works on specific artists and cultural movements as well as classical and theological studies.
The Foundation invites students to apply for a Summer internship. While not limited to art majors, applicants should demonstrate an interest in art history or studio practice.
Interns will support current priorities and individual interests, with responsibilities that may include provenance research, exhibition development, collection cataloging, and organizing library and research materials.
